My favourite activities to do with toddlers usually involve very little set up as I have found their attention is easily distracted still and activities may change several times throughout a session.
I often place storage boxes on my shelves with ready-to-go sensory activities such as cereal play with cars or sensory socks!
Here are some other ideas to keep your toddlers busy:
Keep a clean supply of recycling materials to one side for toddlers to explore. Play with colourful pom poms in the sensory table and sort them by colour into coloured egg cartons! Fine motor control, colour recognition and early sorting skills for toddlers and preschoolers.
Discovery bottles can be easily changed to fit in with a new interest or season. Lastly this has to be my favourite at the moment, crazy soap! It is very easy to set up but as you can imagine it is quite messy! However the fun your toddlers will have with activity will make it worth the mess.
We’d love to hear from you – if you have any great toddlers activities please share them with us in the comment section below.
